Fire was flung at the war in Iraq and the Bush administration. Hillary Clinton made a promise that if Bush didn’t end the war, she would. Governor Bill Richardson said he would withdraw the troops by the end of this year if elected (though how he would withdraw troops in 2007 if sworn in in 2009 eludes this reporter). Former Alaskan Senator Mike Gravel had particularly harsh words about the war as well.

Senator Hillary Clinton overcame the concerns of if a woman could become President during this hour and a half. She was forceful but soft-spoken, moderate and the definition of Presidential.Her approval rating in the MSNBC online poll changed drastically for the positive.

Gravel was, in my opinion, a madman. He was the loose cannon on the team. He said that other candidates on the panel actually scared him. When asked who, he cited the “top tier” candidates. Gravel was particularly angry the entire time, and seemed to think no one was qualified. He, as it was, was not involved in politics for the last thirty years, leading some to call him the new Nixon (though if thats a posative thing, I don’t know). Gravel was, however, very entertaining.

My personal least favorite was Bill Richardson, who seemed more than happy to ignore time limits and rules of debate in order to get his camera time. On one question, he used the time of all eight candidates to answer question designed for a ten-word answer.

Also, deserving of note, was Senator Joseph Biden. He, you may recall had problems calling Obama “clean” a while back. When asked if he would be a simpler and more elegant speaker if elected – to present us well on the world stage – he answered “Yes”, which may be the shortest answer inrecent debate history according to pundit Chris Matthews.

When talking about MSNBC’s online poll, Olbermann said that Barock Obama clearly “wom the debate”, because of a high approval rating. However, the poll tracks pre-debate scores as well as post-debate, and the poll tells a different story than Mister Olbermann does.

In fact, Barock Obama lost one percentage point in the MSNBC online poll. It would seem, that what was reported as a victory actually was a flesh wound.In contrast, Hillary gained considerable ground after the debate.

Perhaps this was a blunder, but for newsmen who call for the truth of candidates to not fact-check their statements is hypocrisy at its finest.

What to do… what… to… do…?  I’m not sure.  I could keep ignoring this place again, or I could try to more actively post.  I don’t want to fall into being on of those “LOOK AT THIS!  THIS WAS ON THE FRONTPAGE OF DIGG, BUT YOU NEED TO SEE THIS AGAIN!” blogs.  Trust me, I’ve seen far too many of them.

I’m thinking about posting another ‘Deep Thoughts’ soon, even though I had originally said that I was going to make it a monthly article.   I just need to think of a topic.  I was thinking marriage, or the lack thereof.  I could probably get a good lengthy post on that subject.

In other news completely unrelated to the blog, I have an eye infection.  Not fun.  I’ve had it since Saturday, and I’m trying to convince my mother to take me to a doctor.  She said that if it doesn’t get better by Friday, we will go, which is good.   If you don’t ever hear from me again, don’t worry: It was probably that I just forgot about you.

Matt: It is pretty obvious, isn’t it? No one has that much money. No company has that much money. No country has that much money. Well, they might have that much money, but then every person in the company/country would be either fired or become slaves.

Needlesstosay, I have to say that it is all quite laughable. But I do have one thing that made me nervous. I bought some music through AllofMP3.com and I’m worried that I could get in trouble. I doubt anything will happen, but who knows? Then again, if at least it isn’t you getting sued… right?

Chris:I just hope they use the money from the suit to pay down the National Debt. The fee seems outrageous, but if you think about it, it’s just 11 million counts of a reasonable fee, and the RIAA has as much of a case as they ever do. Part of me can’t help but think this is just the RIAA’s way of reminding us all that they’re still alive and kicking, though. The penalty is so high, it was bound to attract attention out here in the blogosphere, and then media outlets might care, and sooner than you’d think, the RIAA is trying to scare pirates again. Of course, that’s pure speculation.

Sure, we could just do what every other blog is doing and currculate the current news and what not, but that’s too bland and boring.  We need something new.  Something original.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!  Do you ahve any ideas?  Anything?  Something general like “Video Games?”  Something specific like “Why Would I Want To Get Married?” (On a side note: I actually plan on writing this article.  So, don’t say that one.)

Also, I changed the blog around a bit.  You may notice the new theme.  I personally liked the other one better, but with this one I can customize it more.  Which brings me to my next update.  The banner/logo for the blog!  Doesn’t it look beautiful?  Maybe, maybe not.  Go ahead and tell me.  Have any suggestions?  Speak up.  I don’t bite.

Newt Gingrich announced that he “was not running for president, [he] was laying out a plan for the future that should the American people demand he should become President, it would happen.” What a dark future Mister Gingrich has in store. Newt is prepared to bring America to a place darker than Mister Bush, to a place darker than Mister bin Laden, to a place darker than Mister Hussain, to a place darker than Mister Il, Mister Gingrich is ready to bid an ado to the blessings of liberty to secure not safety for America, but safety for his own political career.

What, if anything, does Mister Gingrich intend to do? He, quite simply, intends nothing less than a complete destruction of the First Amendment. He wants to ban all free speech and free access to cyberspace so that these tools, these essential liberties, may never be used for evil. In order to stem the tide of terrorist web sites and terrorist rallies in America, he wished to deny all Americans the freedoms promised them in their Constitution. In order to combat a fictional threat, Mister Gingrich is ready to commit the Uninted States to a course of action used in Communist China and in the countries we declared in the Axis of Evil; Iran and North Korea.
Furthermore, Mister Gingrich intends to have the Geneva Conventions rewritten, to hold enemies acting ‘outside the law’ to a more brutal standard, not realizing that as his actions are unconstitutional, he himself must be held to that standard.
Mister Gingrich announced all this in a speech in Manchester, in the state where primaries are everything and nothing isn’t political, New Hampshire. Mister Gingrich getting his dream America is a nightmare for everyone who would live in it, and must not be allowed. The time for the Democrats to unite is now, for if there was ever a more pressing need for unity, it is to stand in opposition to someone hell-bent on nothing less than the total destruction of America, who has the warped view that by doing so, he can save it.

Entering the arena from the Red and White corner is… “Some Canadian Guy With A Sledgehammer!”  Entering from the… also Redand White corner is… the Nintendo Wii!  Two go in; one comes out.

A little side note: After watching all three Next-Gen consoles getting destroyed by a sledge, in my most humble of opinions, I would have to say that the PS3 is the strongest. (Construction wise.)  Then the 360 and, finally, the Wii.  The Wii held up pretty well for the first couple swings, but after that it pretty much exploded.  Oh, woh is Wii.
